To make a coffee latte with Sweet Bee Gardens plain whipped honey or Cinnamon whipped honey, this recipe makes one serving.
-
1–2 tablespoons plain whipped honey
2 ounces espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)
¾–1 cup milk of choice (whole, oat, almond, etc..)
-
Part 1: Assemble the Latte (Hot)
Brew the coffee: Brew a double shot of espresso or a half cup of strong coffee directly into your serving mug.
Add the honey: Stir 1–2 tablespoons of the Sweet Bee Gardens plain whipped honey into the hot espresso until it is fully dissolved and well combined.
Steam the milk: In a small saucepan, heat your milk over medium heat until it steams gently (do not boil). Use a steam wand, a handheld frother, or a French press to froth the milk until it's light and creamy.
Combine: Pour the frothed milk into the mug with the honey-espresso mixture.
Serve: You can top it with the remaining foam and, optionally, a light drizzle of extra Sweet Bee Gardens Honey.
Part 2: Assemble the Latte (Iced)
Brew the coffee: Brew a double shot of espresso or strong coffee and let it cool for a few minutes.
Combine: In a separate glass, add the Sweet Bee Gardens plain whipped honey and the cooled espresso. Whip with a handheld frother until mixed well.
Add ice and milk: Fill your serving glass with ice cubes, then pour in your milk of choice.
Finish: Pour the Sweet Bee Gardens honey-espresso mixture over the milk. Stir gently before drinking to combine the flavors.
